Our quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and focused on continuous improvement of products, processes and procedures. Dedicated local quality teams and a Group Quality Officer work together to ensure consistent standards across all manufacturing sites. We set high requirements for ourselves and expect the same commitment from our suppliers and partners. Since 1952, KGS has been recognised as a technology-driven company that regularly brings new solutions to the abrasives world. Our R&D teams develop and patent new products, processes and constructions, protecting our intellectual property while creating tangible value for customers. Safety – built into every product and process
Safety is an essential part of our product design, manufacturing and application support. As an active member of the Federation of European Producers of Abrasives (FEPA), KGS ensures that its products comply with relevant European and international standards for bonded abrasives, superabrasives and specific coated abrasives. We provide clear safety instructions and pictograms with our tools and always recommend following both our guidelines and those of the machine manufacturer. Typical measures include correct tool selection, proper handling and storage, regular inspection before use and the use of appropriate personal protective equipment. By combining compliant product design with training, documentation and risk-aware processes, we aim to support safe, reliable and efficient grinding and polishing operations at our customers’ sites.
