CERAMICS

Ceramic and sintered materials have become a key choice for worktops, façades, wall cladding and high-end interior surfaces. They are extremely hard, thin and tension-sensitive, which makes them more demanding to process than natural stone or composites.

KGS DIAMOND has developed a complete range of tools specifically for this world of ceramics. From large slabs in thicknesses of 3, 6, 12 and 20 mm to tiles and shaped pieces, our solutions are designed to support clean cutting, accurate facets, integration edges, cut-outs and high-quality finishes. Together with suitable cleaning products and adhesives, we help fabricators and installers achieve stable processes and reliable results.

Designed for modern ceramic materials

KGS DIAMOND tools for ceramics are developed and tested on leading materials such as Dekton®, Neolith®, Lapitec® and Inalco®. Saw blades, cutting discs, drills and polishing tools are matched to the hardness, structure and tension of these sintered surfaces, helping you work efficiently while protecting the integrity of thin and thick slabs alike.

Clean edges, facets and integration details

High-end ceramic worktops and panels demand precise edges, facets and cut-outs. KGS tools support the full edge workflow: from bridge saw cutting and tile sawing to chamfering, calibration and semi-circular profiles on CNC machines. Special routers, Flush Fit tools and polishing systems are designed to minimise chipping and deliver stable finishes for sinks, cooktops and detailed edges.

Proven with fabricators and tilers

The KGS ceramic program has been developed together with partners who process ceramics every day, including kitchen worktop manufacturers and professional tilers. Products such as KGS RED™ K835 and KGS Hybrid® flap discs have been certified or co-developed for specific materials and applications, giving users confidence in performance and finish quality.

Complete system : tools, cleaning and bonding

Processing ceramics involves more than cutting and grinding. KGS DIAMOND complements its tools with cleaners, care products and high-strength PU and Integra adhesives for reinforcing profiles and mitred joints. This combination allows you to cut, drill, finish, clean and bond ceramic components using matched products from a single partner.

Applications

KGS DIAMOND solutions are used throughout the ceramic value chain. Typical applications include sawing large slabs to size on bridge saws, processing tiles on small table saws, drilling tap holes and cut-outs, creating mitres and facets, grinding and polishing edges, and finishing semi-circular profiles around sinks and cooktops

On site, installers use KGS tools to trim tiles, adjust openings, chamfer sharp edges and make local repairs. Cleaning and preparation before fabrication or installation can be carried out with specialised cleaners, while PU and Integra adhesives are used to bond reinforcing profiles, join mitred edges and create colour-matched seams on indoor and outdoor ceramic applications.
